Mental health is a big issue in the world. Sometimes people just snap and seek to inflict pain on the world as some sort of justification for times they felt wronged. No one with a healthy mental state decides to blow up a bomb or commit a mass shooting. This reminds me of the Las Vegas shooter. He was another individual who committed a heinous act to accept his motivation was the loss of life which thankfully wasn’t the case for this. There were no obvious signs that he was going to do it, and afterward, they found no reasoning as to why he did it.
