I love the topic I’m majoring in but I’m still bitching about a research paper I have to write. Not necessarily because of the topic, but because it has to be in APA style, strict format, have a minimum number of sources, most of those have to be “scholarly”, minimum page count, etc. All these requirements take away from just getting to write about something cool in a font that isn’t times new roman… But right now you can do many cool things with physics and chemistry, why aren’t students interested in writing homework and learning about them?
