If you have the actual phobia, it’s not like that. I know its irrational, and there’s nothing to fear but being in the deep water will still give me a panic attack if I’m not careful. As in, a fast heartbeat, tight, painful chest, feeling like I’m going to die and mistaking it for a heart attack panic attack. Swimming on the surface with no idea what’s beneath you will always be terrifying though and some biomes are just terrifying no matter what, but once I got to know them the shallow biomes felt like a chill and peaceful home.
