Quit smoking after 15 years, gained 40 pounds and it felt like it happened overnight. Completely changed my diet, can’t lose more than 10 pounds. Seems like an unfair exchange, but my lungs feel so much better and food tastes amazing again. Very common to gain weight when quitting smoking; apparently smoking both ups your metabolism and kills your sense of taste.
