Whenever I go in, I try to either go on the day we have an after-work drink, or I go visit a friend that lives near where I work when I’m done. It means I only have to drive through bad traffic one way, and driving home from hanging out with a friend feels totally different than driving home from work. Plus I get work to pay for my gas and see my friend more often, so it’s nothing but a win!

I feel the same way about my one hour morning commute. I listen to brand new music the whole drive in PLUS the drive is in a work vehicle with a primo Soundsystem and fuel is paid for. I wouldn’t want to do this commute for the rest of my career, but for now, I love that time alone
