I’m helping with a big change at my company, and usually don’t work with the public. What an eye-opener how the front line is treated after a 20-year gap. It did not use to be this bad guy! Really not enjoying being called names online, and hearing it’s the worst change ever in these people’s lives. (Seriously man – you have to press a different button to download and this is your worse problem in a pandemic?) But this is fun – Then I call them as an exec and listen to them talk to me totally differently. Interesting responses when they find out it was me they were the ass to online. I am enjoying making them squirm a bit – there’s no way out of embarrassment when you are caught totally two-faced like this. The apology and ass-kissing to me don’t really count – Hoping this is teaching a few people to think twice before going off on some front line person trying to help them.
