I haven’t looked at the state of research on this in a while, but I’m excited for biofuel cells, specifically ones based on stuff like glucose oxidase (think something like this). There’s a chance we can get power, however little of it, from our own blood glucose. It could power small devices inside your body eventually – they won’t need a battery or external power source.
