The ONLY thing I think that should be allowed, no editing should be applied to the original audio/product, but I think fact checks could prove useful. We’ve all talked about it in this sub, Joe has a massive audience and sometimes he or others do say things that are factually untrue and go on major tangents about it. A small visual indication or a link in the show notes to fact-checked info would be something that would allow joe to be joe but give that little bit of accountability.

This is all the work of a vocal ERG at Spotify. They’re not going to actually get the company to follow through with this, they just want to be loud and feel heard. When this deal was announced they had all the time in the world to file their complaints but they waited until the podcast was up and running on the platform. They don’t actually expect this to happen or else they would have started.
