A neurotype would do just that, while an autistic might put all the parts together first, then go back and weld them one by one. Even if both ways are completed in similar time limits, we live in a neurotypical society.

Obviously this isn’t the best example, but you can take it and apply it to a greater scale. We’re always going to have a ‘different’ way of looking at a problem. There’s value to that. If 90% of people problem solve in one way, there is a value to being able to look at that same problem differently.
