Can someone explain to me why there are all these lines in the US all the time? To me, it seems the duration the actual voting process takes is too long. How long does the actual voting takes once you are in? In Germany, voting takes me 1-2 minutes after I walk into the building and there never is a queue.

This is why I have had a ballot mailed to my house and walked it into a polling/drop place for years. This line is inefficient and a waste of time. You don’t have to wait in line to drop your ballot. Actually maybe with COVID, you will a little but it’s better than camping out at your polling place.
