I’ve been thinking. As a fandom, since pre-debut, we’ve been throwing around the word “lore” a lot. But now I’m thinking lore wasn’t the right word at all. What many felt was missing isn’t lore, It was Yoona’s storyline that was missing. (or seemed to be missing). I think So what started a new storyline altogether and that’s why it seemed like it didn’t have lore (although it did have lore) but the storyline was entirely new and so it didn’t stand out. If I think of what as the origin of a new story then why not makes a bit more sense as a continuation of it. And the old story is referenced but truly as lore.

Listened to the album just once and it physically pained me that I couldn’t listen to it more before I had to leave.
