Did you contact HR and file a formal complaint? Companies of this size have the infrastructure to protect employees from such blatant abuse of power. They could look into the complaints you received and it won’t be hard to figure out they’re fraudulent if indeed they are. I gotta admit, I’m pretty skeptical at the truthfulness of this story.
