I’m always thankful to receive any positive remarks or compliments regarding my playing or singing. Some treat it like it’s some form of magic, and I always stop myself from saying things like “instead of going out, I stay home and practice” or “this didn’t just happen overnight…I spent months or years getting to this point”.

Oh, and you guys that play drums…y’all rock. Learning to sing and play the piano was challenging. Learning to play a smooth, solid, pocket beat without looking or feeling like a complete moron has been the greatest challenge I’ve attempted in years. Some of y’all make it look so easy, and schmucks like me believe we can do it. Hats off to ya.
