So true. A guy I had been really close to in high school was always really good looking and very athletic – he played basketball all throughout high school. I hadn’t seen him in about 8 years. One day I was driving home from work and saw him living on the street. I stopped thinking maybe I could talk to him but he had gone nuts. He lost most of his teeth, his skin was scabbed, he lost his hair, and was scary skinny.

I’ve noticed that alcohol abuse can really affect someone’s appearance too. Even for people who drink exclusively & don’t gain any weight it still makes their complexion change. Dull & kinda ruddy or discolored. They become kinda puffy & lose the brightness from their eyes. I’ve also noticed that it changes their smell. It’s like a caustic kinda acetone sent comes out of their pores.
