For now, we should have virtual learning for anyone who can do it, only do in-person learning where absolutely needed, and even then take safety measures. Instead, it looks like this Georgia school took the “kids need to be in school no matter what so toss them into the collapsing building” approach.
It’s clear the politicians at the top do not value the teachers or students’ lives even though they spend a large amount of time paying lip service to it. The school board and our state-level groups are all meetings virtually. None of those offices are even open and won’t be. Yet here we are.
