Another way around for me. The lyrics were arguable, but there’s no question about the musicianship. Every drummer they’ve had could play circles around Lars, just about every lead they had was better than Hammett, and I personally thought the riffs were better.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I prefer Megadeth’s music almost universally when compared to Metallica, with the one exception being Kill ‘Em All, an album on which Mustaine has writing credits.
