Take it to my grandchildren’s house and see what we end up playing with it. So many race cars, forts, spaceships, houses, secret hideouts, pet homes and so on over the years. I cannot recommend enough that you do this if you have young children. I’m an ESL teacher. One of my best games is called What’s in the box? I put various objects in the box and the students have to ask questions to figure out what it is.
I’ve always gifted my children and grandsons with empty boxes for their birthdays and Christmas (Along with regular toys and gifts!) because I have so many fond memories from my childhood of playing with them. (I came up in a low-income family so boxes often outnumbered actual gifts.)
