Exactly why I believe all drugs should be available in a methadone clinic setting. I don’t see that happening anytime in my lifetime though. I live back to back to a very high priced skilled nursing facility. Unfortunately, the CNAs use the alley behind our back yards as an informal break area, so I get an eye and ear full from them. There are so many screaming arguments on their phones, smoking, etc.
But there are also cigarette butts and alcohol bottles thrown into the shrubs along the alley. And to top it off, their side of the alley is a few feet higher than mine, so occasionally I catch them looking into my yard over my 6ft fence, and staring at me while I garden or relax. Adult Protective Services, too. This is elder abuse of a vulnerable person (age + disability makes it a double whammy of crime). It may have been a home health aid with at most a CNA license, maybe no licensing. Jobs like this are so difficult.
